Common questions
What counts as a credit?
One credit covers a single execution of up to 60 seconds using 1 CPU and 1 GiB of RAM. If your execution runs longer or uses more resources, it consumes proportionally more credits. A 90-second run with base resources uses 2 credits. A 60-second run with 2 CPU and 2 GiB also uses 2 credits.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Your executions keep running. We charge $1.00 per additional 1,000 credits on any plan. No surprises, no disruptions. You can set spend alerts in the console to stay on top of usage.
What does Pro give me beyond Free?
10K credits (10x Free), more powerful sandboxes (up to 4 CPU, 4 GiB RAM), longer execution times (up to 1 hour), 100 concurrent runs, and unlimited custom OCI images.
Why per-credit pricing instead of per-second?
AI agent workloads are mostly quick runs, typically a few seconds of execution. Per-second billing with complex CPU and RAM multipliers forces you to build a spreadsheet before you can predict your bill. Our model is simple: count your runs, know your cost. Most runs on the Free tier cost exactly 1 credit.
How does storage pricing work?
Every plan includes 10 GB of managed storage for free. That covers persistent containers and managed volumes. Beyond 10 GB, it's $0.10 per GB per month. BYOB storage (mounting your own S3, GCS, or Azure bucket) is always free and unlimited and doesn't count toward your storage at all.
Is audit logging really free?
Yes. Full SOC 2 Type 2 compliant audit logging is included on every tier, including Free. Every execution, every admin action, every API key operation: logged, immutable, and exportable. Retention varies by plan: 1 day on Free, 30 days on Pro, and Unlimited on Enterprise. Most competitors charge enterprise pricing for any audit logging at all.
What does Enterprise self-hosted mean?
We deploy the entire Baponi platform inside your Kubernetes cluster, in your cloud, in your VPC. Your data never leaves your infrastructure. You bring your own identity provider (Okta, Azure AD, etc.), your own PostgreSQL, and your own storage. Our security engineers work with your team to configure the optimal setup.
Can I switch from Free to Pro or back?
Upgrade or downgrade anytime. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle. Your data, connectors, and configurations stay exactly as they are.
