Account Executive, Enterprise
Baponi sells sandboxed code execution infrastructure to engineering teams building AI agents. You will run the full enterprise sales cycle from first conversation to closed deal, partnering with solution engineers to land and expand accounts.
What we are looking for
- Enterprise sales experience in developer infrastructure or cloud security. You have sold technical products to engineering leaders (VPs of Engineering, CTOs, platform leads). You understand their buying process, their objections, and what makes them trust a vendor.
- Full-cycle closer. You run your own deals from qualification to signature. Inbound-led pipeline, but you know how to move a deal through procurement, security review, and legal without losing momentum.
- Comfortable in technical conversations. You do not need to write code, but you need to hold your own in a room with senior engineers. You understand cloud deployment models, can talk about VPC architecture at a high level, and know when to bring in a solution engineer for the deep dive.
- Track record of quota attainment. You have consistently hit or exceeded quota selling to mid-market or enterprise accounts. You can point to specific deals you are proud of.
Strong signals
- You have sold infrastructure, security, or developer tools (not just SaaS) to companies deploying AI in production.
- You have worked at a high-growth startup where you helped define the sales process, not just follow one.
- Experience selling products with both self-serve and enterprise motions.
- Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, LLM infrastructure, or the code execution space.
What you will do
- Own the enterprise pipeline end-to-end. Take inbound enterprise leads from first conversation through technical evaluation, procurement, and close. You are responsible for revenue.
- Lead the commercial side of demos. Set the narrative, qualify the opportunity, and drive the deal forward. Your solution engineer handles the technical deep dive.
- Partner with solution engineering. Work side-by-side with SEs to scope deployments, handle security questionnaires, and build the business case for technical stakeholders.
- Manage post-sale expansion. Enterprise deals at Baponi grow after close. You own the relationship and drive expansion as usage scales.
- Shape the sales function. This is an early sales hire with a direct path to leading the team as we grow. Your input on process, tooling, and hiring will define how we sell.
