Solution Engineer
You are the technical authority in every enterprise deal. You run deep-dive demos, deploy Baponi into customer Kubernetes clusters, configure their identity providers and databases, and serve as the first line of technical support for enterprise accounts.
What we are looking for
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience. You have deployed, configured, and troubleshot Helm charts in production clusters. You understand VPC networking, ingress, storage classes, and RBAC.
- Cloud infrastructure across providers. GCP, AWS, or Azure. You are comfortable working inside a customer's cloud environment, navigating their IAM policies, networking rules, and security constraints.
- Identity and access management. You have configured OIDC providers (Okta, Azure AD, Auth0) and understand how federated authentication works in enterprise environments.
- Database administration basics. You can set up and configure PostgreSQL, verify connectivity, and troubleshoot connection issues in cloud-hosted environments.
- Strong communicator with enterprise customers. You can run a technical demo, walk a DevOps team through a deployment, and translate customer requirements into actionable configurations. You are comfortable being the face of Baponi in technical conversations.
- Security fluency. You can speak to sandboxing, network isolation, credential management, and data residency at a level that satisfies enterprise security reviews.
Strong signals
- You have been a solution engineer, sales engineer, or technical account manager at an infrastructure or security company.
- You have deployed software into customer-managed Kubernetes clusters (not just your own).
- Experience completing security questionnaires and supporting SOC 2 or compliance evaluations.
- Familiarity with AI agent infrastructure, LLM tooling, or the code execution space.
- You have worked directly with customer DevOps or platform engineering teams during onboarding.
What you will do
- Run technical demos. You own the technical narrative in every enterprise evaluation. Live product demos, architecture walkthroughs, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Deploy Baponi into customer environments. Helm deployments into customer Kubernetes clusters. Configure OIDC, connect their databases, set up VPC peering and network policies. Work directly with their DevOps teams.
- First line of enterprise support. You are the technical contact for enterprise accounts post-deployment. Troubleshoot issues, advise on configuration, and ensure successful adoption.
- Partner with the Account Executive. You handle the technical evaluation while the AE drives the deal. Together you move opportunities from demo to close.
- Feed product insights back to engineering. You are closest to how customers actually deploy and use Baponi. Your input shapes the product roadmap.
